Module 1: Clear – Define Your Leadership Style

Great leaders lead with clarity. They know who they are, what they stand for, and how to bring out the best in themselves and others. In this one-day workshop, you’ll discover your behavioural and communication style using the DISC profiling model. You’ll gain insights into how you’re perceived, how to adapt your style for better relationships, and how to strengthen team dynamics.

Module 2: Managing Conflict – Lead Difficult Conversations with Confidence

Strong school cultures are built on honest conversations. Great leaders know how to create safety in dialogue—even when the conversation is tough. This one-day workshop builds your ability to lead with confidence during challenging moments. You’ll learn how to shift conflict into constructive conversation, manage emotions under pressure, and use a 6-step coaching framework to resolve issues collaboratively.

Module 3: Coach Consistently – Build a Culture of Accountability

Great leaders don’t give all the answers—they ask the right questions. The Coach Certification Program is a 20-hour learning journey designed to help you lead with consistency and impact. Across two workshop days (with guided learning before and after), you’ll develop a coaching mindset, improve your listening, ask powerful questions, and move away from advice-giving.

Leading Teams for Peak Performance is a one-day workshop designed to help you grow your leadership influence and team impact. With coaching embedded throughout, you’ll leave with a focused plan and clear actions to elevate your team’s performance.

Janine Stratford is the owner and founder of Coaching Focus, the company developing leaders in schools to be role models for those around them.

Drawing from the leadership challenges she sees most often in schools today, Janine designed The Elevating Leadership Program to meet the urgent need for clarity, capability, and confidence among middle leaders.

She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation, Master Coach Practitioner and a Certified Professional Behavioural Analyst. Janine now delivers leadership development programs across Australia.

Q1: Do I need to complete the modules in order?

You can complete the modules in any order once you have completed Module 1.

Q2: How long does it take to complete the program?

This depends on how quickly you want to move through the 4 modules. We recommend 1 module per term or semester, which means you can complete it across 12 months or 24 months. It’s up to you.

Q3: Can I change module dates once I have registered?

You can change module dates once you have registered. Simply email office@coachingfocus.com.au and let us know your reason for changing and your preferred new date/dates. We will do our best to allocate you to a new module date if there is availability in the group.

Q4: How do I get the resources for the program?

All resources are Express Posted to you in the week prior to the module date. If they do not arrive in time, we will provide an electronic copy of the workbook and resources (where possible).
